Dentures at Plymouth City Centre Dental Practice

Missing teeth often affect how you eat, speak, and feel about your appearance. Dentures replace your lost teeth and restore everyday function, allowing you to enjoy meals, speak clearly, and smile with confidence again.

At Plymouth City Centre Dental Practice, we plan dentures around your mouth, your bite, and how you live. We focus on fit, stability, and long-term comfort so your dentures feel natural and reliable, not bulky or restrictive.

What are dentures?

Dentures are removable dental appliances that replace missing teeth. Full dentures replace all the teeth in an upper or lower arch, while partial dentures replace several missing teeth and sit alongside natural teeth.

Getting dentures restores chewing ability, supports your facial structure, and improves speech. We provide full dentures, partial dentures, and flexible dentures, selected to suit your mouth, gum health, and daily needs.

How much do full or partial dentures cost?

The cost of dentures depends on the type of denture you need, the number of teeth that you need to replace, and the materials we use to make them. We have a clear pricing structure to give you an idea of costs but will explain the price of your dentures treatment fully before treatment begins, so you know exactly what’s involved.

We also offer finance through Tabeo, including 0% options over 10 or 12 months, as well as longer-term plans of up to 60 months where interest applies.

Do I need dentures?

Dentures suit patients missing multiple teeth who want a removable, reliable replacement. They also support facial structure when several teeth are absent and improve comfort when chewing and speaking. You may need dentures if you:

  • Have lost several or all of your teeth
  • Are experiencing difficulty with chewing or speaking
  • Want to restore your smile’s appearance

You can discuss your options with our experienced restorative team, who will find out if full, partial, or implant retained dentures are right for you. We will also explain alternatives, such as bridges or dental implants.

Denture care shaped by experience, training, and patient-led planning

We’ve cared for patients across Plymouth for decades, often supporting the same families across generations. Founded by Shahriar Majlessi, who still works at the practice today, our approach to dentures reflects both long-standing clinical experience and continued investment in modern restorative techniques.

Our clinicians build on that experience through ongoing postgraduate training and national and international courses, allowing us to plan dentures using current thinking around bite balance, soft tissue support, and long-term comfort. Just as importantly, we shape every denture plan around you. We talk with you about how you eat, speak, work, and socialise, so your dentures support your lifestyle rather than limit it.
